The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 24th that it will hold the ‘2023 Seoul Summer Beach’ in Gwanghwamun, Seoul from July 28 to August 13 and operate water play facilities.

Install a water slide (water slide) with a height of 8m and a length of 20m. It operates from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm, and the maximum number of visitors per day is 750.

A floor fountain is operated and a large swimming pool is also installed. When using the water play facilities, you must wear a swimsuit and swimming cap. Changing rooms and drying facilities are also available. It is all free for visitors.

Around the fountain, there are shaded pavilions (pergolas) and benches where you can rest comfortably, dressing rooms and drying facilities, and around the statue of King Sejong is ‘Heendy Land’ with the theme of ‘Heendy’, Hyundai Department Store’s own character. It is prepared so that you can enjoy the cheerful and cool sea atmosphere with the combination of blue and white.

In addition, during the event period (12:00-21:00), food trucks and flea markets are operated in collaboration with Hyundai Department Store to provide abundant food and entertainment such as sweet and sour chicken, tteokbokki, gimbap, ice cream, and coffee.
In Sejongno Park, popular food trucks (6 units) and handicraft booths (15 units), such as hamburgers, waffles, and hot dogs, will participate in collaboration with the Small Business Association.
